Mr. William B. Bostock, Jr., of Boston and formerly of Taunton, died unexpectedly Tuesday, July 7. He was born 55 years ago in Taunton, the son of Marjorie T. (Garceau) Bostock and the late William B. Bostock, Sr. He was educated in Taunton and had been a Boston resident for the past 5 years. He was formerly employed as a cook for several Boston area restaurants. Bill enjoyed listening to reggae music and watching sports. In addition to his mother, of Portsmouth, R.I., he leaves: 3 brothers: Jeffrey Bostock and Barry Bostock, both of Tiverton, R.I., and Randy Bostock of Fall River; 1 sister: Dawn Walton of Portsmouth, R.I., and several nieces and nephews. In Taunton, July 11, 2015, Donna Mae. Andrews-Correia, Age 58, passed away at Morton Hospital suddenly, following a brief illness. Donna is survived by her husband William Correia of Taunton. She was born in Fairfield, CA., the daughter of Betty (Dwyer) Pike and her late father Richard Leach Sr.. Donna has resided in Taunton since 1988 and was formerly of Middleboro. She enjoyed golfing, especially her golf trips to Florida and Arizona. She also loved her dogs, above all she cherished her time with family and friends. In addition to her husband and mother Donna leaves her siblings Jackie Rose and her husband Richie of Taunton, Sue Anderson and her husband John of Woodbridge, N.J., Helen Cox and her husband Craig of Rehoboth, Lynn Curtin of Taunton, Kimberly McManus and husband Bill of New Bedford, Girard Pike Jr. of Taunton, Rick Leach Jr.and his wife Terri of Lando-Lakes, Florida, Michael Pike of Abington and Alan Leach of North Dighton and David Leach of Easton. Donna also leaves several nieces and nephews and cousins. Funeral home visiting hours will be held on Saturday, July 18th from 12-3 pm at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, MA 02780 with a funeral home service at 3 pm. In Taunton, July 14, 2015 Elizabeth “Betty” Ann (Butler) Jacobs, Age 73, passed away following a brief illness while surrounded by her loving family. Elizabeth was born in Taunton, the daughter of the late Edmund & Alice (Galligan) Butler. She was employed at the former Copercraft Guild as an accountant. Elizabeth was a member of Bristol Elders, and enjoyed playing bingo, the lottery and dining out and loved spending time with her family. She is survived by her loving children Deborah Valle of Taunton and Rhonda Rezendes of Taunton and Cheryl Jacobs of Plymouth. Her siblings M.Patricia O’Connell of Taunton, Ted Butler of Norton and the late Carol Sadlier. She also leaves her granddaughter Rachel Andrea Adams. Elizabeth also leaves several Aunts and nieces and nephews. A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma 02780 on Sunday, July 19th at 7 pm. Visiting hours will be prior to the service from 5 – 7 pm. Burial is private at the family’s request.

Maria Braga Melo 95, native of Santa Maria Azores, died July 13, 2015 in Taunton, Ma. Calling hours will be held at the funeral home from 9-10:30 AM A Mass will be held Friday July 17 at 11 am at St Anthony’s Church and St Josephs Cemetary. She was the daughter of Antonio and Maria Dejesus Braga, and the lifelong wife of the late Jose De Sousa Melo. She was mother to the late Maria Braga Melo Barros and the late Denis Braga Melo. Maria “Pedra” is survived by 3 children Jose B. Melo, Antonio B. Melo, and Almerinda Melo. She leaves 18 grandchildren, 29 great grandchildren, and 1 great great granddaughter. Maria Melo immigrated to Taunton Ma in 1977 with her husband. She was a loving nurturer to her children, grandchildren, and great grandchildren. She gave wholeheartedly to her family and friends, and she had a great sense of humor. She was well known for her ability to cook and bake of which she did regularly for her family. She was often seen with knitting needles in hand and made beautiful things for her family. She was a skilled farmer and green thumb and a wise woman. To her very last days she was recognized as a sweet and dear woman by all who met her. Maria Melo was deeply loved by many family and friends and will remain in the hearts of those whose lives she made better with her presence and inspiration.

TAUNTON – Christine A. “Bubba” (Collins) Barboza, wife of the late Anthony Barboza and life partner of Marie G. “Scotty” Scott, died at her Taunton home on July 18, 2015. She was 70 years old. Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late William Q.P. and Emily C. (Barros) Collins. Educated in Taunton schools, she later worked as a stitcher for the former Rennie Curtain Factory. She retired from B & J Manufacturing in 2007. A communicant of St. Anthony Church, Bubba enjoyed Cape Cod, dining out, and spending time with her grandchildren. She camped at Knight & Look Campground in Rochester for the past 28 years. In addition to her partner of thirty-eight years, she leaves a daughter, Ann Marie Nelson of New Bedford; two grandchildren, Miranda and Myles Nelson of New Bedford; a sister, Mary Jane McNulty of Pawtucket; a brother, Kenneth Collins of Swansea; and many nieces and nephews. She was also the sister of the late William, Charles, Walter and Paul Collins, and the late Marion Costa. Mr. Robert J. Marrotte, of Taunton, died Wednesday, August 19 in Morton Hospital following a period of failing health. He was the beloved husband of the late Elaine A. (Lefaivre)Marrotte. He was born 86 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Alfred J. and Cora (Cote) Marrotte. He was educated in Taunton and had been a city resident for most of his life. Prior to his retirement, Bob had been employed as a machinist for his family’s business, AJM Electric Motor Repair, in Taunton for many years. Following his retirement, Bob assisted on many funeral services at The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home for a number of years. He was a U.S. Air Force veteran of the Korean War era. In his younger years, Bob enjoyed playing baseball, hockey, and fast-pitch softball. He was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton. He leaves: 2 sons: Robert G. Marrotte of Nashua, N.H., and Raymond P. Marrotte and his wife, Dawn of Nashua, N.H.; 2 daughters: Paulette E. Marrotte of Taunton and Jeanne M. Costa of Taunton; 2 brothers: Rodolphe Marrotte of Westbrook, Me., and Joseph Richard Marrotte of Taunton, 10 grandchildren, 15 great grandchildren, and several nieces and nephews. TAUNTON – Manuel S. Fontinha of Taunton died at the Guardian Center in Brockton on August 20, 2015. He was 93. A lifelong resident of Taunton, he was the son of the late Alvino S. and Leopoldina (Silva) Fontinha. He was a 1940 graduate of Taunton High School, and graduated from Bentley College with an Associate’s Degree in Accounting. Manuel was employed as a store manager for Fernandes Supermarkets, and eventually became their District Manager. A communicant of St. Anthony Church, he enjoyed gardening and horse racing. Survivors include his sister, Rose Wedge of MI and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Domingo Fontinha, Clementina Johnson, and Mary Benson. A funeral mass will be held at St. Anthony Church, Taunton on Tuesday, August 25th at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. TAUNTON – Elaine J. (Lima) Kullas, wife of Walter J. Kullas of Taunton, died at Mass. General Hospital on Sept. 3, 2015 surrounded by her loving family. She was 67 years old. Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Rena (Nadeau) Lima. Elaine was raised and educated in the Taunton area and was a 1966 graduate of Taunton High School. A retired elderly housing manager, she was employed by the Taunton Housing Authority for 20 years. She retired in 2006. A lifelong resident of the Taunton area, she was a communicant of East Taunton’s Holy Family Church. Elaine loved spending time with her family. She cherished time spent with her 5 grandchildren and retired early to care for them. She also enjoyed knitting, politics, Sunday afternoon football games, and time spent on the beach. In addition to her husband, Elaine leaves two daughters, Kristin Lopes and her husband Brandon and Kerri Crowley and her husband Scott, all of East Taunton; three brothers, Ronald Lima and his wife Maureen of Dennis, Edward Lima and his wife Marian, and Steven Lima, all of Washington; two sisters, Susan Paulauskas and her husband Peter of Berkley, and Nancy Bumbaugh of Taunton; five grandchildren, Abbie, Kaylee, Ryan, Madison and Sophia; an aunt, Yvonne Quinlan of Raynham; an uncle Edward Nadeau of Illinois; and several nieces and nephews. He was born 81 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Joseph F. and Mildred H. (Leary) Waldron. He was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to his retirement, Bill had been employed as a foreman for Reed and Barton Silversmiths for over 50 years. He was a U.S. Army veteran, having served during the early Vietnam Era. He was a Life Member of the Taunton Lodge of Elks, and was a member of the Reed and Barton Quarter Century Club. Bill enjoyed bowling and spending time with his family. He was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton. He leaves: 2 sons: William J. Waldron and his wife, Beverly of Brandon, Fl., and Stephen G. Waldron of Taunton; 5 grandchildren: Meredith Waldron, Trevor Waldron, David DaRosa, Denise DaRosa and Derek DaRosa, 2 great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews. Widow of the late Bruno Mozzone. Mrs. Mozzone is survived by her son, Peter G. Mozzone and his wife Alicia M. Kullas and daughter Mary Ann Mozzone and her life partner Robert Tatrufo, her grandchildren Emily J. (Mozzone) Farrer and her husband Andrew Farrer, and Matthew P. Mozzone, in addition to her Great Granddaughters Cecelia, Ruby & Zelda Jean Farrer. Mrs. Mozzone was also survived by her sister Margaret “Peggy” Shuemaker of Monson, MA, and several nieces and nephews as well as her lifelong friend Mrs. Carol (Flynn) Doherty who she met on their first day together at St. Mary’s School Kindergarten. She was predeceased by her infant son Paul Mozzone. Mrs. Mozzone was a graduate of St. Mary’s High School, class of 1945 and a communicant of St. Mary’s Church to which she enjoyed a life-long love and commitment. She was employed by a jewelry manufacturing firm in Attleboro for a short time before her marriage to her late husband, Bruno and then turned all of her focus and energy to her magnificent career as a devoted and loving wife, mother and home maker. A wonderful cook, several of Mrs. Mozzone’s favorite recipes will be included in a cookbook being publishing to benefit St. Mary’s Church, which will be available around Thanksgiving. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St, Taunton, MA 02780 on Monday, Oct. 5th at 8:30am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Mary’s Church in Taunton at 9:30am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Sunday from 4-7pm. Burial will be in the family lot in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton. In lieu of flowers. Gifts may be offered in Mrs. Mozzone’s memory to St. Mary’s Church, 14 St. Mary’s Square, Taunton, MA 02780.
