In Taunton, November 24, 2013 John Coelho, Age 91 passed away in Morton Hospital following a lengthy illness. John was the husband of the late Bernice (Weaver) Coelho. He was born in Taunton, the son of the late Frank & Eliza (Marques) Coelho. John was educated in Taunton schools. He served his country during WWII in the U.S. Army. He was employed as a castor for several local silver companies where he did custom work, including Reed & Barton, F.B. Rogers and Sheridan Silver CO. John enjoyed playing guitar, working around the house, his cats and spending time with his family. John leaves his daughter Dianne Wilbur and her husband Ralph of Taunton. His grandson Kevin Wilbur and his late grandson Bruce Wilbur. John was the brother of the late Irene Boffetti, Olive Arruda, Edward Martin and William Coelho. He also leaves several nieces and nephews. A graveside service will be held on Friday, November 29th at 1 pm. in St. Joseph’s Cemetery in Taunton. Visiting hours are respectfully omitted. Arrangements are under the direction of the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home in Taunton.
