TAUNTON – Joseph A. Medeiros, son of the late James and Bella V. (Vaz) Medeiros, died at Brigham & Women’s Hospital on Nov. 30. 2012. He was 57. Born, raised and educated in Taunton, Joe was a 1973 graduate of Coyle & Cassidy High School. Employed by Trucchi’s Supermarkets, he worked in the Tremont St. store for the past forty years. Joe was a communicant of St. Andrew the Apostle Church, and an avid Red Sox and Patriots fan. Survivors include three brothers, James F. Medeiros and his wife Dianne of Sandwich, Paul E. Medeiros and his wife Donna of Atlanta, GA, and Edward G. Medeiros of Taunton; and several nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, great nieces and great nephews. His funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Wednesday, Dec. 5th at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
