In Taunton, December 1, 2012 Donald J. Moreton Sr., age 69 passed away in Morton Hospital following a lengthy illness while surrounded by his loving family. Donald is survived by his loving wife Mary (Dowling) Moreton of 46 years. He was born in Philidelphia, PA, the son of the late Gabriel & Mary (Conway) Moreton. Donald was educated in PA schools and a graduate of Johnson & Wales College. He served his country in the U.S. Navy during the Vietnam era. Donald was employed as a truck driver and mail carrier for the Postal Service. He was a member of the Taunton Rifle & Pistol Club, the NRA and he enjoyed fishing, landscaping, model trains and above all cherished his time with his family. Donald also leaves his children, Donald Moreton Jr. and his wife Stacey of Taunton, Matthew Moreton and his wife Kimberly of Taunton. He leaves his grandchildren Joseph, Cooper, Bailey and Sydney. Donald is survived by his siblings Joan Loesch of N.J. and Robert Moreton of PA. Funeral from the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St. Taunton, MA 02780 on Wednesday, Dec. 5, 2012 at 9am. Followed by a Mass of Christian Burial in St. Andrew the Apostle Church at 10am. Relatives and friends are invited to visiting hours on Tuesday from 6-8pm. Interment in St. Francis Cemetery in Taunton. Donations in lieu of flowers may be made in Donald’s memory to either the Jimmy Fund Cancer Institute, P.O.
