In Taunton, July 19, 2012 Peter J. Cardin Sr. died suddenly at his home after a short illness at the age of 63. Born in Taunton a lifelong resident Peter was the son of the late Leo & Alice (Thomas) Cardin Sr. Peter attended Taunton Vocational High School. Peter worked as a Mental Retardation worker at Taunton State Hospital, he was a landscaper and rug & floor installer for various companies. Peter was a member of the Fish & Game Club in Taunton. Peter is survived by children; Peter James Cardin Jr. of Dighton, Tracy Harnish of Taunton, Tammy Joyce of E. Taunton., Brother of Ann Lopes of Berkley, Beatrice Lagace of Taunton, Barbara Devlin of E. Taunton Leo Cardin of Maine, William Cardin of E. Taunton, Edward Cardin of Taunton. Brother of the late Yvonne, Jayne, Thomas, Jeffrey, John, Also survived by 4 Grandchildren and several nieces & nephews. Graveside services will be held at St. Joseph’s Cemetery 475 East Britannia St. Taunton Friday July 27th at 11:30 am Relatives & Friends invited to attend. A Memorial Mass will be held at a later date.
