TAUNTON – Walter J. Fitzgerald, husband of the late Natalie V. (Prado) Fitzgerald, died at the Marian Manor on June 29, 2015. He was 100 years old. Born and raised in Taunton, Walter was the son of the late Charles and Catherine (Perry) Fitzgerald. A graduate of Bristol County Agricultural High School, he later served in the U.S. Army during WW II. A retired letter carrier, Walter was employed by the U.S. Postal Service for 30 years. Survivors include a son, Walter C. Fitzgerald of Raynham; 2 daughters, Jo-Ellen Tarvis of Taunton and Gail Fitzgerald of E. Taunton; 4 grandchildren; and several great-grandchildren. Funeral Services are private at the convenience of the family. Calling Hours are respectfully omitted. Burial will be at St. Francis Cemetery.
