TAUNTON – Raymond A. Sylvia, husband of Helen J. (Given) Sylvia of Taunton, died at Marian Manor on April 1, 2015. He was 82. Born and raised in Taunton, he was the son of the late Arthur and Rita (Mattos) Sylvia. He was educated in Taunton schools and was a longtime Taunton resident. A retired iron worker, Ray enjoyed hunting, fishing, and NASCAR racing. Funeral services are to be private at the convenience of the family. Calling hours are respectfully omitted.
