Mr. Richard S. Moitoza, of Taunton, died unexpectedly Tuesday, March 10 at his residence. He was born 56 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Manuel S. and Mary (Almeida) Moitoza. He was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. He had been employed by a number of local blacktop and construction companies. Richard enjoyed hunting and was an avid fisherman. He leaves: 1 sister: Rosemary Eskenazi and her companion, Sharon DiCrosta of CT.; 4 brothers: Robert Moitoza and his wife, Linda, Ronald Moitoza and his wife, Stephanie, Raymond Moitoza, and Randy Moitoza and his wife, April, all of Taunton. Richard also leaves the light of his life, Morgan, his dear friend, Jane Sears, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother-in-law of the late Kim Moitoza. A Celebration of his Life will be held at the Portuguese-American Civic Club, 175 School Street, on Sunday, March 22 from 2:00 to 4:00 P.M. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
