In East Taunton, February 10, 2015 Elizabeth M. Phillips Age 88, passed away at home surrounded by her loving family. Elizabeth was preceded in death by her husband Russell W. Phillips. She was born in Northampton, Ma, the daughter of the late Everett & Margaret (Hanlon) Smith. Elizabeth has resided most of her life in the Taunton area. She was employed as a secretary for the former Robertson’s Curtain Factory in Taunton. She enjoyed knitting, crocheting, bingo, bowling and her family. Elizabeth leaves her children: Margaret “Peggy” Vincent and her husband Stephen of East Taunton, Curtis Phillips and his wife Frances of Taunton, William Phillips and his wife Eileen of Taunton and the late Michael Phillips. She also leaves her nine grandchildren and five great grandchildren. A funeral home service will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington St., Taunton, Ma 02780 on Saturday, Feb. 14th at 7 pm. Relatives and friends are also invited to visiting hours prior to the service from 5-7 pm. Burial will be private at the request of the family.
