TAUNTON – Ann Theresa (Pacheco) Ploude, wife of the late Joseph L. Ploude, died at Marian Manor on Dec. 14, 2014. She was 97. Born in Taunton, she was the daughter of the late Joseph and Theresa (Cabral) Pacheco. A lifelong resident of Taunton, Mrs. Ploude attended Taunton schools. A homemaker for most of her adult life, she was employed for a time by G.E. and the former Ansonia Mills. In her spare time, Mrs. Ploude enjoyed crocheting and jigsaw puzzles. She was a communicant of Holy Family Church. Survivors include two sons, Robert A. Ploude and his wife Patricia of Raynham and Richard K. Ploude and his fiancé Maryann McCarthy of Lakeville; a daughter, Mary Ann Crownover of East Taunton; five grandchildren; thirteen great grandchildren; two great-great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. She was the mother-in-law of the late Elizabeth Ploude and Lloyd Crownover and was also predeceased by siblings, Joseph Pacheco and Mary Sylvia. Her funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Tuesday Dec. 23rd at 8:45 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Holy Family Church, East Taunton at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
