Mr. Armand P. Marrotte, of Taunton died Wednesday, December 18 in Longmeadow of Taunton following a lengthy illness. He was born 83 years ago in Taunton, the son of the late Alfred J. and Cora R. (Cote) Marrotte. He was educated in Taunton and had been a lifelong city resident. Prior to his retirement, he had been employed as an electric motor repairman for the former AJM Electric Motor Service of Taunton, retiring in 1993. Armand enjoyed flying model airplanes and was a sports fan. He was a communicant of St. Jude the Apostle Parish in Taunton.
He leaves: 3 brothers: Rodolphe Marrotte of Westbrook, Me., Robert Marrotte and Joseph Richard Marrotte, both of Taunton, and several nieces and nephews. He was also the brother of the late Edmond, Hector and Clement Marrotte.
Funeral services will be held from The Riendeau-Mulvey Funeral Home, 467 Bay Street, on Saturday, December 21 at 9:00 A.M. A Mass of Christian Burial will follow in St. Jude the Apostle Church at 10:00 A.M. Interment will be in St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. A Visiting Hour will precede the funeral, Saturday, from 8:00 to 9:00 A.M.
