TAUNTON – Jose Pinheiro, Jr., son of Jose and Maria T. (Moitoso) Pinheiro, died at the VA Medical Center in West Roxbury on Feb. 4, 2013. He was 52. Born in Galt, Ontario, Canada, he moved to Taunton in 1966 and graduated from Bristol-Plymouth Regional Technical High School in 1978. He was a US Marine Corps Veteran of Desert Storm. Employed in Taunton area shops for many years as an auto mechanic, Jose was a lifetime member of the VFW Post 611, and was a member of the Italian Naturalization Club and the Atlantic Café Fish Club. In addition to his parents of Taunton, he leaves three brothers, Antonio Pinheiro and his wife Grace, Manuel Pinheiro, and Angelo Pinheiro and his wife Betsy, all of Taunton; and several aunts, uncles, nieces, nephews, great nieces and great nephews. His funeral will be held from the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway, Taunton on Friday Feb. 8th at 9 a.m. followed by a funeral mass at Annunciation of The Lord Church at 10 a.m. Burial will be at St. Joseph Cemetery. Relatives and friends are invited to attend.
