Antonio M. Correia, a longtime Taunton resident died Thursday Nov. 15,2012 at Lifecare Center of Raynham after a brief illness, surrounded by his loving family. He was 95 years of age He was the loving husband of the late Maria (Lourenco) Correia. Mr. Correia was born in St. Michael, Azores. Son of the late Manuel and Ana (Morreia) Correia He was a member of St. Anthony’s Church. He enjoyed making wine and fishing but most of all spending time with his loving family. He was the loving father of Herberto Correia of Taunton, Normanda Velho of Taunton, Antonio Correia of Taunton, Jose F. Correia of Canada and Tersea Carreiro of Taunton. He also leaves behind eleven grandchildren, thirteen great grandchildren and many nieces and nephews. Mr. Correia’s Funeral Services will be held on Monday at 10:30am at the Taunton Funeral Home followed by a Mass of Christian Burial at 11:30am at St. Anthony’s Church relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours will be held Sunday from4-8pm.
