TAUNTON – Edward “Edmund” Menice, husband of the late Carolyn E. (DeArruda) Menice, died at Morton Hospital & Medical Center on Nov. 5, 2012. He was 88. Born and raised in Taunton, he was the son of the late Frank and Mary (Enos) Menice. He was 1940 graduate of Taunton High School and an Army Veteran of WW II. A communicant of St. Andrew the Apostle Church, Mr. Menice is survived by two daughters, Mary Ellen Szydlowski, her husband Thomas, and their son Thomas Edward, all of Taunton, and Carolyn Videto and her husband Kenneth of Lakewood, CA; two sisters, Beverly Murphy of East Falmouth, and Margaret Travis of Taunton; six grandchildren; four great grandchildren; and several nieces and nephews. A Funeral Mass will be held at St. Andrew the Apostle Church on Saturday, Oct. 10th at 9 a.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. Burial will follow at Cedar Knoll Cemetery.
