Taunton, Vicenta Soto a longtime Taunton resident died August 16,2012 after a lengthy illness at the age of 97 surrounded by her loving family. She was born in Puerto Rico daughter of the late Santiago Soto and Adelaide (Medina) Soto. She was a member of St. Mary’s Church. She enjoyed knitting. She was the loving mother of Alicia Gonzalez of Taunton, Melida Lizardo of Boston, Irma DeJesus of Taunton, and Enrique Gonzalez of New Bedford, She also leaves behind two sisters Julia Soto and Mariesther Acevedo both of Puerto Rico and Seventeen grandchildren, Thirty Three great grandchildren, Nine great-great grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by her son Fausto Gonzalez and her companion Angel Gonzalez. Her Funeral Services will be held at the Taunton Funeral Home on Tuesday at 9:00am Followed by a mass of Christian Burial at St. Mary’s Church at 10:00am relatives and friends are invited to attend visiting hours will be held Monday 4-8pm
