In Clearwater FL, July 13, 2012 Michael F. Moniz husband of Beverly G. (Correia) Moniz died in his home peacefully at the age of 64. Born and educated in Taunton, Michael was the son of Lydia (Correia) Moniz and the late Francis Moniz. Before moving to Florida Michael worked at the Woos Hole Oceanographic Institute in Falmouth. When Michael moved to Florida he worked for many construction companies as a foreman. Michael was the brother of James Moniz of PA, David Moniz and his wife Sue of Falmouth and Karan Cordeiro and her husband Rick of Taunton. Nephew of Edward and Irene Rozzi of CT and Anthony and Abrea Correia of Oregon. Uncle of several nieces and nephews and cousins. Calling hours will be held at the O’Keefe-Wade Funeral Home, 70 Washington Street in Taunton Wednesday, July 25th from 5-7 PM. A service will be held after the calling hours at 7 PM. Interment will be private. In lieu of flowers donations in Michael’s memory may be made to Suncoast Hospice, 5771 Roosevelt Boulevard, Clearwater, FL, 33760.
