Taunton, Jeffrey Jude Moniz of Taunton passed away unexpectedly July 2, 2012 at the Age of 50. He was born in Fall fiver son of the late, Joseph and Dorothy (Fitta) Moniz and Step Son of the late Aires DeMello, Mr. Moniz was a Drummer for the Taunton City Band and other local bands. He was the Loving father of Melissa M. Moniz and Michael J. Moniz both of Taunton, Loving grandfather of Zame M Pustelmikas of Taunton, he was the former husband of Maria H (Duarte) Santarpia of Taunton. He is also survived by one brother, Stephen Moniz of NY and a niece Erika Moniz of NY and several Aunts, Uncles, and Cousins. A Memorial Mass will be held on Monday July 16, 2012 at 10:00am at St. Anthony’s Church relatives and friends are invited to attend Visiting Hours will be held at the Taunton Funeral Home on Sunday 2-4pm and 6-8pm, Donations can be made to Jeffery’s Children Melissa and Michael Moniz.
