TAUNTON – Joseph F. Padula of Taunton died at Morton Hospital on May 21, 2015. He was 88. Born in Dover, New Hampshire, he was the son of the late John and Mary (Costano) Padula. Educated in Dover, NH and Taunton, Joseph later served in the U.S. Navy during World War II. A retired factory worker, he was employed by the former Reed and Barton Silversmiths for many years. Joseph was a communicant of St. Mary Church and life member of Taunton’s VFW Post 611. He is survived by his brother, John Padula of Taunton and good friend, Marlene Aviles of Taunton. A memorial visitation will be held at the Silva Funeral Home, 80 Broadway Taunton on Tuesday, March 1st from 5 to 7 p.m. Relatives and friends are invited to attend. www.silvafuneralhome.com.
